Cold Birds

3/29/20

‍    I created these images back in January when the snow was deep and often . . . and I was really tired with snow and cold. So, in effect, these are fantasies. I idid get to the tropical island, but not yet, to the spa.

‍    For the cardinal image, the starter image was the duller female sitting on a branch, from Morgue File.  I added the brighter male cardinal, more background branches and the dream island., all from Pixabay. I was able to create the falling snow in Photoshop.

‍    The following week, the starter image was from Pixabay; a cute, but weathered bird feeder.  I found interesting snow covered branches to to hold the feeder steady. The two birds (from PngImg) are enjoying a spa retreat in cups of hot beverages. The cups are from PixelSquid - a site for repositional 3-D images.  I added a bit of reflecting and some steam from brushes to complete the composite. That spa visit just sounds better and better all the time.
